Shouf Biosphere Reserve has a job vacancy for the position of "Forest Management Project Coordinator", the role description, key responsibilities and requirements for the candidate to fill the position is the following: 
Role description:
The project coordinator will be in charge of coordinating the activities of forest management projects, in the Shouf Biosphere Reserve. They will work in close collaboration with the administration team and the field teams and will report to the General Manager of the Reserve.
Key responsibilities:
•Maintain and monitor project plans, project schedules, working hours, budgets and expenditures
•Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed ensuring project deadlines are met
•Prepare all needed Project Reports
•Track the implementation of the activities and report the progress in each cycle on daily, weekly, and monthly basis
•Coordinate when needed with municipalities to ensure smooth implementation
•Contact and select the targeted participants (conducting socio-economic surveys, preparing time sheets and attendance sheets
•Organize, attend and participate in stakeholder meetings
•Document and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings
•Prepare necessary presentation materials for meetings
•Coordinate with the Field Officers on daily basis to ensure proper implementation of activities
•Make sure all tools, equipment, material are delivered to the sites on time, and that each crew has needed tools
•Conduct field visit and technical assessments on a regular basis
•Perform any other related duties and responsibilities as required.
Requirements for position:
•Proficiency in English and Arabic, spoken and written. French is a plus;
•Knowledge in file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures;
•Strong communication skills for both internal and external audiences;
•Computer skills, mainly office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.); Ms project is a plus
Educational qualifications/ experience
•Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, forest management, rural development, environmental science, or any related field
•Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in forest and lands project management in rural areas
•Experience in coordination with municipalities and local authorities
Additional Information:
•Evaluation of qualified candidates may include an assessment exercise
•Priority will be given for applicants who live in the surrounding area of the Reserve.
